Elise Sormani
Elise Sormani is a sustainable fashion activist and ESG specialist. Born in Paris, she started her career in Spain and France in the marketing and media industry. After a specialized MBA (in sustainable business administration) she reoriented her path towards Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management in 2010. She worked for the French Ministry of Environment, then for the French leader of recycling, Paprec Group.
Her personal life took her to Cape Town in 2014 where she decided to venture into social entrepreneurship and created the sustainable fashion brand, We All Share Roots. After resisting the catastrophic effects of Covid on small and local businesses, she had no choice but to close her ethical company in September 2021. She is now back to ESG and strategy. She has co-written reports on the Fashion and Textile supply chain in Africa and South Africa and drives freelance missions.
