Valentine Cheruiyot is a sustainability practitioner with over 10 years of experience in driving environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives across the Safaricom ecosystem. Over the years, she has grown her competence in Environmental Management Systems, Environmental Management tools, Sustainability, Climate Change and Electro-Magnetic Fields.

She has entrenched 100 % compliance with all environmental regulations across business operations and projects, pioneered and implemented EMF policy and single-use plastic projects. She is a certified environmental expert, EMS lead auditor and sustainability practitioner. She is analytical, self-driven, dependable, and trustworthy.

She holds a master’s degree in environmental policy from the University of Nairobi and bachelor’s degree in environmental science from Kenyatta University and a diploma in project management from Kenya Institute of Management.

She seats on various boards of management.
