Andrew is a South African who has lived and worked in the USA, UK, Europe and Africa. He studied Business Economics and Marketing and started several businesses in disruptive and the social impact space.  He was also one of the pioneers in developing a model for self-funding rural education that has now grown across the world.  He has a background in IT, strategy and Business Development and after the millennium saw the looming opportunity for delivering affordable energy and communal connectivity across Africa by leveraging technology and innovations in renewables.

Andrew is based in South Africa and has worked extensively in developing projects in various countries across Africa including Mozambique, Nigeria, Ghana, Namibia, Zambia Malawi and some of the Francophone territories, working to give widespread and remote African communities access to dignified and sustainable services while addressing the climate agenda and SDG goals.
