Miriam oversees the manufacturing sector operations at the Association, including regulatory and legal advocacy. She has extensive experience in public policy, advocacy, regulatory governance, and research in Kenya and within the African region.   She sits on national public structures on trade and tax on behalf of the private sector.

Miriam has been leading manufacturers’ initiatives on the circular economy and extended producer responsibility scheme including the establishment of the producer responsibility organization, and the legislative frameworks on the same in the country.  She also has extensive experience in promoting social and human rights.
